Hand-blended perfumery, composed for the cabin. One edition, finished properly, before it was many.
There is a moment — after the door closes, before the engine turns — when the car becomes something else. Not a machine. Not a commute. A room.
A small, private room you inhabit more than almost any other. Yet for a category so central to modern life, the fragrance inside the cabin has been treated as an afterthought — chemical trees, cheap plastic vents, scents that smelled like candy for a week and cardboard for a month.
We thought that was strange. Cabin No. 6 was built to answer a simple question: what if the car received the same attention as the wardrobe, the home, the wrist?
We decided the answer would be one fragrance, finished properly, before it was many.
Rouge is the first edition we finished.
Others exist in development. Some collapsed after three weeks in the heat. Some read beautifully on paper and thinly in a cabin. Some were simply good rather than worth the number on the bottle.
We would rather offer one fragrance we would put our name on than ten we would have to explain. The library will grow. Each edition arrives when it is finished, and not before.

Each blend begins with perfume-grade oils, layered by hand, then tested for the specific chemistry of a moving cabin — how heat, airflow and sunlight change a scent over sixty days on the road.
The result opens the moment you enter, settles into the space around you, and stays with you long after you have stepped out.
Composed to open the moment you enter, settle into the space around you, and stay with you long after you have stepped out.
Amber warmth meets crystalline florals and a soft veil of saffron. Rouge is composed for those moments when leaving the car is somehow harder than arriving — layered by hand from perfume-grade oils, formulated to unfold slowly across sixty days.

No. 18 Rouge opens in numbered editions. Leave an address and we will write once — when it is ready.
